This is shaping up to be the Knights most fun and exciting volleyball season yet! We have four teams in place including a 6th/7th grade girls “B” team, an 8th grade girls “A” team, and also a High School JV and Varsity team. Coaches Dannielle Dodd and Lindsey Goff are busy preparing for a winning season, and we can't wait to see it start! Our season schedules are now posted, and we hope you'll make plans to join us to see the Knights in action.

The girls had a great week of volleyball camp which included lots of fun activities including a trip to the mall to “Build A Bear” mascot for the teams (see photos in gallery). Camp proved to be a great time of bonding and team building, and we are thankful for our hardworking committee members, Jana Biesecker, Ruth Morgan, Dawn Hereth and Kathy Tenenbaum for creating such a fun and memorable experience for the girls.

On July 25, there will be a Family Fun Night season kick-off at The King's Academy gym for all Knights volleyball players and their families. We'll practice setting up the gym, handling gates & concessions, learn game basics, referee signals, and lots more. There will be a pot-luck dinner, music, parent/player volleyball games, spirit items for sale, a raffle for an MP3 player, and a ton of fun! This will be an evening our volleyball families won't want to miss.

Following Family Fun Night will be another spectacular event for Crown volleyball. This year's Knights' Summer Bash promises to be bigger and better than ever! The tournament will be held on Saturday, August 2, and our new and exciting location will be announced soon! At least 8 teams from Georgia and Alabama are signed up to play, and if you would be interested in joining the fun, contact us at crownvolleyball@yahoo.com. Just wait til you see all we have planned for this great day of volleyball action - concessions, music, prizes, spirit items, Bash t-shirts and more! Everyone is welcome! We hope you'll make plans to join us for what is becoming a much-anticipated annual event.

See you at the games! Go Knights!s
