Crown Athletics was formed in the fall of 2005 after much prayerful deliberation and research by a group of committed families attending The Kings Academy. Their desire was to develop a quality program of competitive athletics to meet the needs of the students at The Kings Academy and within the local community.
Crown Athletics is a not-for-profit organization operating under the oversight of a Board of Directors and an Operating Board made up of Christian parents who have demonstrated leadership skills, have a servants heart, and have an interest in and experience with various sports. These men and women are committed to the Lord Jesus Christ and are deeply involved in the community as well as their local churches.
We prayerfully depend upon Gods direction and blessing to make this association grow and succeed. We are located in the midst of a very active and supportive community, and many gifted individuals have come alongside to share their resources, talents and athletic abilities with Crown. The Kings Academy, a private academy, is the home base for Crown Athletics.
Crown Athletics name and purpose is a reflection of 2 Timothy 2:5 which says If anyone competes as an athlete he does not receive the victors crown unless he competes according to the rules. It is our hope to honor the Lord and bless the home school community in all that we do.
